De La Torre defeats Jason Butar:
In the opening fight of the pay-per-view event, Filipino boxer Harmonito De La Torre scored a third-round knockout win over Indonesian slugger Jason Butar to garner his 11th career victory and his sixth overall knockout triumph. Butar, meanwhile, lost for the 12th time in his career despite being considered the favorite to win his matchup against De La Torre.
Yang keeps record unblemished, beats Tito via unanimous decision
In the second match of the event, Ik Yang, who is trained by Freddie Roach, kept his record perfect and gathered his 14th career victory by outlasting Hero Tito via unanimous decision, 57-57, 60-54, 59-55. All throughout the contest, the victor had the upper hand against his opponent and connected on multiple punches with his quick hands and resilient attack. Tito had his moments and connected on a couple of punches to the body of his adversary as well, but was outclasses for majority of the matchup.
Hometown boy Kouk Kung Ng gets past You-Jie Zeng
Macau-based and superwelterweight boxer Kouk Kung Ng found a way to awaken the early crowd at the The Venetian Resort in Macau by taking down You-Jie Zeng via unanimous decision in what was a one-sided affair. Ng's height advantage and longer reach overwhelmed his counterpart all throughout the fight, which was enough to garner a unanimous verdict from the judges.
Hong Kong's Rex Tso defeats Susu Sithjadeang by first-round TKO
After connecting on 40 consecutive punches, Rex Tso of Hong Kong pulled out an easy triumph over Thai fighter Susu Sithjadeang after the umpire of the fight opted to stop the contest in the first round. Tso was dominant and was not stopped at all by his adversary, as his multiple punches and killer combos provided minimal breathing room for his opponent.
